Monies
raised from this showcase event will benefit PACA., the Chewelah Performing
and Cultural Arts Center. A solid group of determined individuals have
been working to create a much-needed performing arts facility in Chewelah.
PACA's mission is to bring together leadership and resources to create
and sustain a center of excellence to educate, inspire, and celebrate
the performing and visual arts in Chewelah, Washington. It is intended
to provide a place for meetings, artists in residence, scene and costume
construction and the necessary additional support spaces needed for
ongoing artistic activity. PACA. is currently working with the City
of Chewelah to transform the Armory/City Shop building just south of
Chewelah's Museum, into a working performing arts facility. Events are
already in the works.
