Designs
Initial designs for converting the donated garage into a performance and cultural center are now in preparation. The aim of the design is to overcome the difficulties of the past, arising from holding PACA events in cafeterias, gymnasiums, and classrooms, by providing a dedicated facility that is appropriate for the performance and exhibition needs of the whole community, and is not subject to conflicts with school or community functions. Specific aims are:

  • Good acoustics for performances
  • A quiet environment with adequate heating and cooling
  • Adequate and comfortable seating for the size of our community
  • An adequate stage area
  • Provision for a box office
  • A backstage area with adequate dressing rooms
  • Space for visual arts displays and exhibitions
  • Adequate lighting and electrical power
  • Adequate bathroom facilities
  • Good quality sound equipment
  • Storage space for props and costumes
